Phew!

Mission Pixel Final

Not much more to say about this than I already have.

Photos for comparison. I reckon this was about 25-ish hours of work. It's about a tenth the size of the large-scale work they do at eboy and probably a tenth of the quality. Still, I'm very happy with the results.

  2. Very good work! Congrats! Is that really your first work within the realms of IPA? However, I feel a great demand of letting an avatar walk through that scenery, giving commands like READ SIGN, OPEN DOOR, USE CHAIR, DRINK COFFEE, EAT PIE and so on.

So, any chance that it becomes the basis for an adventure game?

  3. dk: I took a break to do a smaller IPA project, but this is indeed the first thing I started.

There's nothing I'd love more than to make this into an old school SCUMM point and click. I wonder how hard it would be to learn the necessary Flash. Definitely something to look into.
